Summary: Tezuka, a mage for the castle, takes a shortcut through the West square, and finds an inconspicuous old oak door that draws him forward. There, inside the dark and dusty room, was a golden-eyed boy.

CHAPTER SONG: This chapter has four songs (in order): "I Talk to the Rain" from the soundtrack of the anime Tsubasa RESERVoir Chronicles, "Once Upon A Time There Was You and Me" from the same soundtrack, "Fatigue" from the same soundtrack, and "A Ripple Song (with Uta)" from the soundtrack of the J-movie Shindou.

Note: "A Ripple Song", the last song, is mentioned in chapter 5 (the song Ryoma is playing as Tezuka wakes up) and chapter 6 (the song Ryoma plays on the flute for Nanjiroh; he has yet to arrange it for piano).
